- Log in to your WordPress dashboard. To do this, go to your website’s URL and add /wp-admin at the end. For example, if your website’s URL is www.mywebsite.com, go to www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin.
- Once you’ve logged in, navigate to the post you want to edit. You can do this by clicking on “Posts” in the left-hand menu, and then selecting the post you want to edit.
- Click on the “Edit” button at the top of the post. This will take you to the WordPress editor, where you can make changes to the post.
- Once you’re in the editor, you can make changes to the post content. To edit text, simply click on the text you want to change and start typing. To edit images, click on the image and select “Edit” from the toolbar that appears.
- If you want to add new content to the post, such as text, images, or videos, simply use the toolbar to add new blocks. To add a new block, click on the “+” icon in the top left corner of the editor.
- Once you’ve made the changes you want to make, click on the “Update” button to save your changes. You can then preview the post to see how it looks.
- If you want to change the post category or add tags, you can do so in the right-hand menu under “Categories” and “Tags”.
- If you want to schedule the post to be published at a later date, you can do so in the right-hand menu under “Publish”. Simply click on the “Edit” link next to “Publish immediately” and select the date and time you want the post to be published.
- Once you’re finished editing the post, click on the “Update” button to save your changes. Your updated post will then be live on your website.
